Description
Roadhouse USA:
1940s Gibson L-48 Archtop Acoustic Guitar.
The best I can date this guitar at would be between 1946-1950.
It is all original and in very nice condition for its age.
Its never had a neck reset and doesn’t need one. It plays quite well as it sits.
Take a look at the pictures, there is the expected amount of vintage wear throughout, but nothing egregious and no cracks or repairs.
The neck is straight and it is very, very playable.
Comes as pictured with a deluxe Guild case that fits it perfectly. The chipboard cases that came with these guitars have mostly rotted and turned to dust, so this case does a great job of protecting this 75+ year old vintage Gibson.
