This is literally as good as it gets.
Incredibly clean and 100% original. With the exception of the previous owner’s name written on label, the guitar remains completely original with no modifications.
It plays as good as it looks and if you are reading this, you probably know how the original PAFs sound. The factory solder is still on the covers. Find another vintage ES that can boast that!
It even has the added provenance of the engraved truss rod cover. These were available from Gibson during this time period, but the original owner had to send away to have it done and then Gibson would send the engraved truss rod cover a few months later. It was rather expensive for that time period, so very, very seldom will you see a guitar that actually has that truss rod cover as a bonus. Very cool, very rare to find.
This guitar was purchased from Carter Vintage and has a signed letter from The Man, Walter Carter himself as additional certification to accompany this incredible piece.
Collector owned, it has been properly stored and not played.
