Description
Roadhouse USA:
1976 Gibson Les Paul Custom Tobacco Sunburst with Bigsby and OHSC.
This is a very interesting and very cool ’76 LP Custom.
10.8 lbs (seriously, what did you think it was going to weight??!?@?!)
It has obviously had a few modifications: the pickups are Seymour Duncan 59’s and the mini toggles have been added for coil taps and series/parallel.
As you can see it has a beautiful Bigsby tremolo installed.
The tuners have never been changed and the frets are original.
No breaks or repairs.
It is in remarkable condition for its age. Check out the pics, they don’t lie. Obviously it is not in perfect condition, what ’76 Custom is, but overall it is extremely well preserved and in great vintage shape.
The biggest thing to note about this Custom is that it plays better than any vintage Custom I have had my hands on. Seriously. It is laughably smooth and easy to play. Great action, the neck is superb, all the way up and down the board.
The Tobacco Burst finish still looks great.
Comes as pictured with its original Gibson case which shows wear on the exterior, but is quite clean on the interior.
Original pickguard is also included as pictured.
This is a stellar vintage Les Paul for those who want to play one instead of hang it on the wall and look at it.
