This is a 1985 original Charvel San Dimas made in the USA.
Serial #4642
Weighs in at 8.6 lbs.
Super cool red finish that seems to shift colors a bit depending on the angle and the lighting. It has a bit of a violet hue from some angles and can appear more fuchsia in color at times. Very nice finish.
The neck on this guitar is killer, just as you would suppose it would be. As you can see, the maple board has slightly discolored over the years, as most all of these guitars did, but it is in excellent shape and the frets are as well. Plays wonderfully with that unfinished feel that we all remember and love about these guitars.
Pickups are original and sound great.
Kahler trem which is original as well.
Overall, this is a well preserved San Dimas that plays as great as it looks.
Comes as pictured with hard case that to me, looks period correct and could well be original.
These guitars do not come around in this type of condition much any more. If you have been wanting one, grab it.
