1988 Dean Custom Hot Butt Graphic Guitar-Rare & Nice!
These were a short lived graphic series done at the factory.We have a collection of 4 of these graphic guitars at the moment and this one is of course, my favorite. (go figure!)
Very few Custom Deans were ever done with a graphics and to have all 4 of these is pretty friggin’ cool.
It is signed ‘Pristovnik 88’
Neck is straight, it has a few minor marks here and there, after all it is from 1988, but as you can see by the pics, nothing major. Overall a cool piece of 80’s history.
Necks: Scarf Jointed, Maple with Rosewood FB, 4-Bolt Pattern, MOP Dots, 1-5/8″ wide at the Nut, 2″ wide at 12th Fret, 22 Frets, Satin Finish, Truss Rods work properly. Locking Nuts.
Hardware: ‘Licensed under Floyd Rose patents’ Trems with Bars, Diecast Tuners.
Electronics: Select Designed by EMG pickups, 1-Volume, 1-Coil Switch
I would compare it favorably to the ESP builds from this era. Very cool guitar that plays great and is sure to get attention both on the stage and off.
Comes with a soft case, but a hard case is available if the buyer desires.
