Description
Roadhouse USA:
1989 ESP Maverick Gobstopper Green Guitar W/OHSC.
An exceedingly rare ESP from the late 80’s!
This one is in the famous Gobstopper Green Swirl finish, which was of course made famous by Vernon Reid of Living Color. Obviously his guitar was a little different ESP, but the color scheme is very much reminiscent of his guitar that resides now in the National Museum of African American History & Culture.
This guitar came from an ESP collector and is in exceptional condition. It is also all original and stock.
Another amazing aspect of this rare bird is that it sports a FULLY scalloped fretboard that was factory done. This is no aftermarket scallop job, which would indicate that this was a custom, one-off order, or done for an artist. Either way, its friggin’ awesome.
The guitar plays great and has no issues. Very little fret wear.
Comes with original ESP hard case as pictured.
Again, what you see is what you get: an extremely rare and collectable vintage ESP in one of the coolest finishes I have ever seen.
