1992 Vintage Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 Gold Top Guitar-All Gold LP-Rare & MINT!
I have been lucky enough to own a couple of these early 90’s Classic LP’s over the years and they are some of the most killer guitars Gibson ever produced.
A very small number of all gold Gold Tops were done in the early 90’s and they are very hard to find and generally in the hands of collectors. This one is by far in the best condition that I have ever seen.
I use the word mint a bit loosely because I don’t believe ANY guitar that is 30+ years old is truly mint, but this is literally as good as it gets.
No issues. No dents, no dings. No fret wear.
It is a time capsule.
I’m sure you can find a pick scratch or two on the guard if you hold it up to your face, but thats about all you are going to find. Take a look at the pics. You won’t find a better example anywhere. Period.
It plays great and has a ton of mojo, as these guitars tended to have. The 1990’s was known as the ‘good wood’ era for a reason and these early 1960 Classics had superb necks on them. To find one that is all gold with the back, sides, neck, all matching the top is the icing on the cake.
