The Fender Custom Shop NAMM Custom Built ’50s Relic Thinline Telecaster Electric Guitar will please any Fender fan fortunate enough to strap it on. Close inspection reveals the remarkable workmanship and attention to detail that makes this Custom Shop guitar so special. It’s available in a vintage combination of Telecaster specs and has been given the Custom Shop relic treatment, which imparts the appearance of years of aging and light use without too much wear and tear.
This Tele has a thinline ash body with F-hole and a quartersawn maple neck sporting a ’57 soft V back shape and 9.5 in. radius. The fingerboard is maple with 21 medium frets leading to vintage tuners. Two handwound Tele pickups with modern wiring and Greasebucket tone circuit deliver true Tele tone. Includes 1-ply white pickguard, bone nut, special Limited Edition neckplate and hardshell case.
