2024 Emerald Guitars Virtuo Cocobolo Top Carbon Fiber Acoustic Electric Guitar-OHSC
Like new condition.
I have had a number of Emerald guitars over the past couple of years and in my opinion, they are one of the coolest things to come along in a LONG time and also probably the best acoustic electric on the market today. Certainly the most versatile and the Virtuo personifies that.
This one has all the bells and whistles that the Virtuo offers. It features a hollow carbon fiber body with a Cocobolo veneer over carbon fiber top, carbon fiber neck and uni-directional carbon fiber Fingerboard with a color matched Cocobolo veneer headstock. Apologies for the camera glare. It is a high gloss top on this guitar so its hard to get a great pic of the top without camera glare.
Fishman fluence classic in the neck position and a Fishman fluence classic in the bridge position. Controlled by 1-Mag volume with push/pull 2nd voice, 1-Piezo volume with push/pull, 1-Mag tone with push/pull coil tap, 1-Midi volume, a 3-Way toggle selector switch, a 3-way mini toggle mag/blend/piezo selector and 13 Pin Hexpander Midi output.
The 25.5″ scale length neck has silver and gold Celtic vine inlays, white side markers with 22 medium stainless frets on a 12″-14″ compound radius with a thin “C” profile.
Gotoh 510 18:1 ratio tuning machines with small heads, a graphtech low friction nut, an Emerald milled carbon fiber bridge with graphtech adjustable ghost piezo saddles and gold knurled dome knobs.
I have had 4 or 5 Virtuos now and this one is the nicest. It has every option you could want and it looks and sounds just plain killer.
This guitar is in overall excellent condition, I would go so far as to call it mint.
Fresh setup with 9-42’s and it plays great.
Comes as pictured with original Emerald hard case.
