Vintage Carvin V220 Purple Rainbow Sparkle Guitar W/OHSC.
This is my all time favorite model Carvin guitar! This one happens to be from the 80’s and it has been refinished somewhat adequately.
The finish is actually pretty cool under lights and would look great on stage. It is not the highest quality re-fin I have ever seen, but its not horrible either. It could probably use another coat or two of clear to gloss it up a bit more, but hey, its close enough for rock and roll:)
The guitar is original other than the paint job, with a Kahler (trem bar is included) that was stock on this guitar and original Carvin pickups.
It plays great, as most of these old V220’s did.
Comes as pictured with original form-fit Carvin case (which is tough to find in and of itself) that is clean on the inside, but shows its age on the outside. The outside is worn and one latch does not work, but the case does its job.
Overall, this is a really cool player’s V220 at a nice price for one of these of the vintage variety.
