Dr Z Monza 1×12 Combo Guitar Tube Amp W/Brake Lite Attenuator.
Now out of production, the Monza is my personal favorite of the entire Dr Z line.
Tonally its a little bit darker and has more gain than some other Z models and I have just always thought it was a lot of fun to play.
This amp is in excellent+++ condition and has the trademark Dr Z red tolex.
It is a non-master volume design, so this one includes the Dr Z Brake Lite Attenuator, which is a must for this amp. With that feature you can get great tones in your bedroom and still take the amp to your next gig. The Brake Lite itself is a $300 value.
I also find the 1×12 to be the best combo for this amp as it gives your tone a bit more girth than the 1×10 version which is what you usually find Monza combos in.
Overall, I can’t say enough about this amp. You cannot get it from Z anymore, so you don’t see a lot of them these days.
