The inner label is hand signed by Dwight Yoakam.
The guitar is in superb condition showing virtually no wear. No dents, no dings, no issues. A few marks on the pickguard is about all you will find on this one.
It is a cannon and sounds huge acoustically. Very impressive tone from this guitar.
The original owner has installed a Fishman under the saddle pickup with sound hole controls and end-pin jack as pictured. There was nothing invasive about the pickup install, so it could be taken out with no problem if desired. However, it does add a great dimension to this guitar being able to plug it in.
Comes as pictured with original Martin case and some paperwork.

The Dwight Yoakam DD-28 is inspired from a 1972 D-28, the guitar Dwight has played his whole career. He has always loved the sound of his guitar and his custom signature model could not be anything less. Honky tonks and casinos are the theme for this model. Crafted from Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, this model honors the classic booming sound of the Dreadnought. An ebony fingerboard is the backdrop for the inlaid mother-of-pearl and recon stone playing cards. The other truly unique feature of this instrument is the bull’s horn shaped pickguard. This guitar is sure to be a treasured instrument for years to come. This is Limited Edition #26 with interior label signed by Dwight Yoakam.
