This is a 3-channel Mesa Dual Rec that has the Platinum Voodoo Amps Mod AND the Series FX Loop Mod.
I have sung the praises of Voodoo Amps before and to tell the truth, I try and get my hands on any amp they have ever modded. They simply sound incredible.
I have no problem saying that this is the best sounding Dual Rec you are likely to ever hear.
The Platinum mod for this amp is (was) over $2100 alone, another $100 for the Series FX Loop Mod, plus you have to pay to ship the amp back and forth to them. Further, Voodoo is no longer modding amps for the general public, mainly because they are so busy modding amps for big name rock stars and working on their own amps. So not only was this mod very expensive, you can no longer get it done. This amp is a steal with that in mind:)
Amp is absolutely KILLER in every way and comes as pictured with original footswitch and cable.
Please don’t buy this amp:) I’d rather keep it as its simply the best sounding Dual Rec I have ever plugged into.

- Important
- Fx “Assignment” option no longer works with the footswitch. IE: you cannot assign the fx-loop to specific channels. When the loop is on / active it is active for all channels unless you bypass the loop manually (on rear of amp) or you turn the loop off using the footswitch
- This Mod is not applicable nor necessary for the “Multi Watt” 3-Channel Rectifiers released on January 2010 as they come stock with a Series FX-Loop.
