Rare 1984 Schecter USA Jimi Hendrix Strat Guitar-White-Reverse Headstock.
Here is one you most definitely will not see every day.
These guitars were made by Schecter in Dallas in the mid 80’s in VERY limited quantities, due to the obvious and inevitable lawsuit threats that followed.
These were not endorsed by the Hendrix estate so Schecter didn’t make them for long.
This example is all original and in very good vintage condition.
It shows some marks here and there (looks like there was a string tree on the headstock originally, but it is very clean and has no issues. The Jimi Hendrix ‘signature’ on the pickguard is wearing off, but still visible. Scratching on the pickguard, but other than that, not much really wrong cosmetically.
GREAT neck on it, and it plays very well to boot. Frets are excellent.
Comes as pictured with a form-fit strat case.
Schecter USA made guitars in the 80’s were very high quality and great players, probably mostly due to their association with Tom Anderson at that point. This one is a sleeper; not only is it rare and cool, its a well made, fun to play guitar as well.
