Incredible Santa Cruz H from 1993.
This was a special series of only 10 made and this is #8.
Obviously incredibly rare, this is probably the only one you will ever find for sale. The woods used to build this guitar are magnificent and have only gotten better with age. There is some finish checking on the top which is only noticeable at certain angles and completely common and to be expected with a 25 year old guitar.
No breaks or repairs.
As you can see, comes with original hard case and also the warranty card. Don’t miss out on an incredible guitar.
This special, limited edition guitar is in excellent condition. This is an example of one of the most original and imaginative Santa Cruz designs that Richard Hoover has dreamed up. He limited it to the amount of wood he had available, all grown in California, and had just enough to make a run of only 10 instruments.
Per a report from Santa Cruz: It is essentially a Style H having a solid peghead with ivoroid binding and a walnut burl overlay; it has a California poppy inlay in peghead with gold inlaid “SCGC” logo; its nut width is 1 11/16″, the E-to-E string spacing at the bridge is 2 3/16″. It has an ivoroid bound walnut neck, a standard scale length, a burl walnut fingerboard, sold and genuine walnut body, redwood top, ivoroid body binding, walnut burl back strip with purfling, ivoroid rosette (like their Vintage Artist model), and a burl walnut bridge.
This is an example of one of the prettiest Santa Cruz designs. Like a Louisville Slugger or a Harley Davidson, it was made in the USA, and even better, of all-U.S. materials. Plays great, sounds great.
