2011 Gibson Les Paul Standard Custom Shop Jackson Pollock Guitar 1of 6 Made!
Very cool and very rare Custom Shop Lp. It has kind of a ‘crinkle’ finish that is harder than hell to photograph, but really looks cool in person.
This one is in mint condition and comes as pictured with original case, COA and other paperwork.
There were only 6 of these made and this may well be the only one in blue.
Jackson Pollock created popular art by splashing paint on his canvases! Gibson made guitars as a tribute to him by splashing paint on the painted headstock and finish of the guitar making a unique look! The pictures cannot do the finish justice as there is a 3D look to the finish, and the headstock immediately says “This is not your average Gibson”!
Jackson Pollock painted with splashing paint in eloquent manner, and they followed this style with the finish! Equipped with 57′ classics from the Gibson custom shop, with a premium rosewood fret-board with trapezoid inlays. It’s a custom shop guitar so it feels and plays like it! The finish on this Les Paul has a three dimensional feel that pictures just cannot capture! It looks like a crystallization pattern that one would see on a frozen window pane.
