Carvin 80s Vintage V220 Guitar-Red W/Original Hard Case.
Here is another very cool 80s V220.
This one is more of a player’s grade, as it shows a fair amount of dents and dings around the guitar.
It looks like a stress crack on the back of the heel that went thru the paint and nothing more. I bought this guitar from a guy who has owned it for decades and the crack has been the same ever since he got it. Its a finish crack, nothing more, but if such things make you nervous, simply don’t buy this guitar:)
The neck is still great, it plays very well, but could probably still be set up with even lower action if desired.
Comes with original form fit case and paperwork as well as the trem bar for the Kahler.
Overall, despite a few dings, the guitar looks great and still plays like it did back in the day. The necks on these were great and this one is no exception. Most of the dings could easily be touched up, but the main thing is, its still an excellent guitar that is getting harder and harder to find in this model. Probably the coolest thing Carvin did in the 80’s:)
The V220 features a standard 25″ scale ebony fingerboard with white pearl dot inlays, a 14″ radius and 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets.
