Roadhouse USA location:
Very cool, very rare, Carvin SH225.
This one is in white as you can see and in very good condition for its age. The paint has separated a bit in places around the binding of the body of the guitar (pictured) but it is simply cosmetic and nothing structural or anything like that. Adds a little ‘light relic’ flavor to the guitar.
Making this an even more rare SH225 is the fact that it has a factory Kahler trem on it, which would have been uncommon on this particular model.
It plays great, with a straight neck that shows very little fret wear for its age.
It has been customized with Rio Grande pickups (see receipt for the work that was done in 2014) and the knobs etc replaced. The originals are included, also pictured. The original truss rod cover is also included in case you don’t like the flaming one currently on the guitar.
This guitar was obviously someone’s baby and was used to record an album, the cd of which is included and is, I’m certain, destined to be a classic:)
Comes as pictured with original Carvin hard case.
I apologize for the ‘shiny’ fretboard, I had just conditioned the board when I took the pics.
Overall, this is a very cool piece of Carvin history in very, very clean, shape for its age. It plays great and sounds even better, this guitar has plenty of mojo.
