1988 USA Robin Medley Custom Graphic W/OHSC Owned by Tommy Shaw.
Another rare gem from the 80’s, this is a early example of a USA Robin Custom guitar that was built for Tommy Shaw.
Since it was made for an artist, it has a built in Nady wireless system, which may seem silly now, but at the time was a big deal.
The graphic was hand painted by Pedro De La Cruz.
No documentation as far as the ownership, its just a cool fact on the history of this guitar, and lets be real, you’re not buying it solely because Tommy Shaw owned it anyway:)
Alder body with Robin’s HSH pickup configuration and Robin branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo with brass block.
1 volume 1 push pull tone (coil split) 5 way blade switch and an led for the wireless system.
Maple.neck with maple fret board, jumbo frets that are in excellent condition, and black dot inlays.
Reverse headstock with Robin sealed tuners.
This one is a shredder. It plays great and its hard to put it down once you pick it up.
Condition is very good for a vintage piece. You will see some nicks and dings around the edges of the guitar in the white areas. The top is in great shape and the color has remained vibrant over the years. It presents super well as you can see by the pics.
Comes as pictured with original form fitted Robin hard case.
This is a rare one and cool piece of 80’s history, not to mention the fact that it was built for and owned by a flat out killer guitar player!
