1989 Kramer American Richie Sambora Jersey Star Guitar W/OHSC-Rare USA Made Version.
The guitar was made in 1989 and comes with original Kramer hard case as well as the original warranty card and paperwork.
Overall the guitar is very clean, especially for it’s age. There is a little bit of funkiness in the upper neck pocket where a small finish repair was attempted (see pics) but otherwise, this is in great vintage condition.
This guitar features an alder body, a 3-Piece flame maple bolt-on neck and rosewood board.
25.5 scale length neck has mother of pearl star inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets on a 16” radius fingerboard and an elliptical C profile.
Pickups are the three original Seymour Duncan hums, with 2 JB in the middle and bridge positions and a JN in the neck position. Pickup are controlled with a single master volume pot, 5-way blade switch and two coil splitting mini toggles.
The guitar also has the original gold Schaller tuners (made in W. Germany) and original gold Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo.
Some of the gold hardwares (pickup rings, bridge, volume nob) has a bit of tarnish, which is very normal given the age.
You will see dozens and dozens of the import version of this guitar.
Finding an all original USA made model is exceedingly rare these days.
