1996 Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic Purple Quilt Top Guitar.
Here is another really cool Anderson, this one a bit ‘vintage-y’ from 1996.
KILLER quilt top on this guitar and in my all time favorite colors as well, purple:) Matching headstock and also matching back, complete the Purple-vibe of this classic guitar.
It plays as well as all Anderson’s do, which is to say exceptionally well.
It is not in mint condition, although you can see by the pics, it still looks good. Various small dings here and there and a bit of a paint chip under the top strap button. Overall, I would rate the cosmetic condition around a 7.5-8 out of 10, and again, if you look at the pics, it shows out really well.
Frets are in great shape, neck is awesome. Electronics work as they are supposed to, it looks like the pots were replaced at some point and the originals are included.
Playbility-wise, its a definite 10. Not to sound like a broken record, but it is a joy to play, like all Andersons are.
Comes with original hard case and some paperwork as pictured. The back plate was off when I took the pics, but I put it back on.
