Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1950s Stratocaster Journeyman Relic’d Lake Placid Blue. Features Fender’s new Journeyman Relic finish, a AAA Rosewood Neck, 6105 frets, 9.5″ Radius and a 57 Soft “V” Neck shape.
This series was lightly relic’d rather than the heavy relic that you see coming out of the Custom Shop where the guitar looks like it was run over by a heard of mountain goats. Much more subtle relic job and much more realistic in our opinion!
Rare solid rosewood neck strat. Plays and sounds as good as it looks, get it while you can, there are not many around with the rosewood neck option.
This limited edition ’50s Stratocaster epitomizes the instrument in the era of its origin, with an Journeyman relic’s lacquer finish on its light weight alder body. Other features include a “soft V”-shaped tinted maple neck, 9.5″-radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium-jumbo frets and dot inlays, three handwound single-coil pickups with modern wiring and five-way switching, Gold Annodized pickguard, aged control knobs and switch tip, vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge and vintage-style tuners. Includes hardshell case.
