The Xccelerator X54 is already available and should soon be followed by the 4-string (X44) and 6-string (X64) basses.
The Carvin Xccelerator series is the answer to many users who requested a new design and advanced features such as graphite neck reinforcement, deep cutaways, a new pickup configuration with a split-coil neck model and a new bridge humbucker, as well as active/passive electronics.
X64 belongs to the modern Xccelerator line of electric bass guitars. It is Kiesel`s most advanced bass line, made for players who are looking for the ultimate playability, along with contemporary looks. Some of the standard features include neck-through-body construction, modern double-cut bodies, 24-fret fingerboards. Hipshot and Kiesel hardware and electronics are also standard options. X64 starts out with flat alder wings, all-maple neck and 24-fret ebony fingerboard. Many other tonewoods and tonewood combinations can be ordered. Also, Kiesel offers numerous alternative options in hardware, electronics and cosmetics sections. Stock options in hardware and electronics sections include A-style Hipshot bridge (string-trough-body construction), Kiesel`s KRH single-coil pickup (bridge) & SPC split single-coil pickup (neck) and Carvin premium tuning machines.
