This Limited Edition Ovation/Nikki Sixx “Heroin Diaries” Acoustic-Electric Guitar features a spruce top covered in astounding graphics by world-renowned artist PR Brown. The top is married to a super shallow body for excellent sonic balance and projection. The NS28-HD also includes many other distinctive Ovation features such as a thin profile neck, vibration sensitive Slimline pickup, and the OP4BT preamp with a built-in tuner.
Ovation’s Slimline pickup captures the guitar’s pure acoustic tone and delivers it with a powerful signal that has ample headroom to combat feedback in high-volume conditions. The OP4BT preamp offers +/-12dB control over the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies for great tonal flexibility. Its onboard tuner is easy to use and helps you stay perfectly in-tune, even when using open or non-standard tunings. The OP4BT preamp has a gain knob, a battery LED, plus bass, mid and treble EQ sliders. The warm acoustic guitar tones are combined with the pre-amp electronics to create the signature Ovation sound.
The super shallow bowl provides a full sonic presence while reducing feedback during live performances, while the Ovation OP4BT preamp is ideal for both gigs and studio recording
