As much as I am into Wayne Charvel guitars, having owned dozens over the years, this is one I have never seen before.
Wayne Charvel lap steel guitar!
Micheal Charvel signature engraved in the back of the headstock. Perhaps Michael built this one without Wayne, I have no idea, but I do know that they could not have made many of these.
Excellent build quality, as is every Wayne guitar. This one is no exception.
I am not a virtuoso lap steel player by any means, but this thing is just plain fun to play.
Great playbility and it sounds superb.
Seymour Duncan Vintage P-90 pickup with a single volume control.
Scale length is 231/2″ and the nut is 21/16″ wide.
Comes as pictured with a form-fit deluxe G&G hard case, paperwork, as well as a slide and a bar.
If you are into rarities, you won’t find another one of these any time soon:)
