Since Mike Soldano retired, these amps (as well as most of his other designs) are no longer being made and are thus, much harder to come by.
A compact, 20-watt combo with tone only Soldano can deliver! The Atomic 16 is a 20-watt, single-channel tube guitar amp that packs the soulful crunch of it’s Soldano predecessors into a 1×12 cabinet. It has a size that belies the awesome tones it can produce. Loaded with three 12AX7A preamp tubes and two EL84 power tubes, this gem can give you anything for a great blues crunch to a ripping metal overdrive! Controls include preamp and master volume, bass, middle, treble, and presence. The Soldano Atomic 16 is fitted with a 12″ Soldano speaker, custom made by Eminence in U.S.A. The tube amp also has two speaker jacks (16 Ohm), which allows you to use multiple speaker cabinets.
