Steinberger USA GM1 Trans Trem Guitar in Black W/Binding-Original Soft Case.
Very cool, USA made Steinberger with the sought after Trans Trem!
If you are reading this, you most likely know what this guitar is, probably more so than I do:)
Not being an expert on Steinberger guitars, I believe this is the Trans Trem 2 and to the best of my knowledge it is a late 80’s model.
It appears to be in very good vintage condition and everything is in working order.
There is a receipt in the case pocket that shows that it had the electronics cleaned up etc in 2006 and my guess is it hasn’t been played much since then.
The finish is in very good shape considering it is a black guitar and the neck and frets are excellent. It was very hard to get pics that show the finish well, due to the high gloss and the fact that it is black. No dents or dings to speak of, just basically some pick scratches and polish marks here and there that you might see in the right light. Overall, very clean guitar for its age, especially being in black:)
