Vintage 1988 Guild Westerly RI JF-30BLD Acoustic/Electric Guitar with case.
Once again, another awesome vintage USA made Guild!
I have great affection for USA made Guild guitars, having seldom ever played once that didn’t knock me out. There were simply great quality guitars that you can still buy for far less than anything Gibson etc is making in what should be comparable builds. This one is exceptional.
SUPERB condition for a 30+ year old guitar. This thing has been babied and seldom played. You will find one small bit of finish checking off the pick guard, but other than that, its excellent+++.
Neck is great, it plays well and the voice on this guitar is HUGE. Its the kind of guitar you can sit and strum a G-chord on for about 5 minutes because it just brings a smile to your face when you do:)
Great figuring on the neck and the body, this guitar has some excellent flame maple.
It has electronics, I have no way of knowing if they are original or not, but they function like they should and are a nice addition. If they were done after market, it was a professional job.
Comes as pictured with a VERY nice Guild Humidi-case that is in superb condition.
Overall, this thing really couldnt be cleaner for this type of vintage. Its a great playing and sounding guitar with the added benefit of being able to plug it in.
