The Bogner Lafayette tube guitar amplifier head is a marriage between the flavors of 50s Tweed and 60s British EL84s. Filtered loosely, like many small amps from this era, the Lafayette feels like an extension of your picking hand that responds to every nuance played.

The Lafayette is a marriage between the flavors of 50’s Tweed and 60’s British EL84’s. Filtered loosely, like many small amps from this era, the EL84 Lafayette feels like an extension of your picking hand that responds to every nuance played.
The combos are constructed from solid pine and feature a Baltic birch floating speaker baffle board. This floating design, as offered in several vintage classic amps, allows the speaker and pine cabinet to breath and resonant freely. Many players feel that this lively resonance gives the amp a 3-Dimensional openness almost sounding as though reverb had been added to the notes.
The EL84 Class-A cathode biased circuit can be set to either 6 or 12 watts.
Volume, tone controls and our 4 position Schizo switch allows a multitude of tones, many not found in vintage circuits, to be dialed in.
