The new MAB 29 fret “Rocket” Signature Guitar is an exact replica of Michael’s iconic “Rocket” guitar that he used in the “Speed Kills” instructional program.
The original was scanned and photographed extensively to create this production model. The Rocket has some interesting features including extended range frets, 29 of them and a military-grade, aircraft aluminum top.
The DMT single-coil neck pickup is placed right up against the 29th fret, slightly set back from where it would be on a normal guitar and a DMT humbucker at the bridge provides a lot of tonal variety. Black hardware includes a Floyd Rose special bridge and locking nut. This is an amazing guitar and a real feat for Dean to have matched the original for such a low price with hardshell case.
